Lately, I have been working on a lot of projects with my Raspberry Pi. One of the best things about the Raspberry Pi is that you can switch out the operating system just by plugging in a new SD card. As a result, sooner or later there will be multiple SD cards laying around your workspace. I was finding it hard keeping track of all of these SD cards so I decided to build a SD card container to keep all of my memory cards organized.
To start, I found the standard dimensions for an SD card. The standard dimensions are contained in the SD card specification and are shown below.
With these dimensions in mind I was able to sketch a simple container that is able to hold up to 10 SD cards. I used Sketchup to design the container and exported the STL file.
Included with the container is also a cover. Both the container and the cover are available here for download.
